Due to an injury in 1984, which resulted in Judy wearing a
brace on her leg, she took a sabbatical from bodywork to concentrate on her own healing. Despite doctors
conclusion of a permanent disability, Judy miraculously healed herself and now gives lectures on the power of
self healing using her own case as an example. She is certified in Shiatsu and is a Reiki Master Teacher. In
addition to her private practice, she is an active volunteer at the Whitman-Walker Clinic and the Montgomery
Hospice, suing these therapies on people with AIDS and cancer. She is also a coordinator of Unity Christ
Church's Reiki Ministry and a member of the Montgomery County AIDS Ministerial Roundtable. She has been
interviewed on various radio and television shows and spoke at the Natural Living Expo in 1995, 1996 and
1997. She also was a guest speaker at the Angelfare Conference in Washington, D.C., and at the Angel
Festival in Atlanta in 1996.
